VERY SOON, IT WILL ALL MAKE SENSE!
I just was wondering, Rolls Royce and Toyota automobiles are
both cars. It takes 6months of hard work to build a Rolls Royce, but just
13hours to build Toyota Cars.
Elephants and Rats are both mammals. Elephant's gestation period is 22months; they
carry their young in the womb for nearly two years before giving birth. And
they give birth to only one calf at five year intervals. Can you beat that? But
wait, have you seen a baby elephant?
it's worth the 22months and even more... On the other hand, a rat's gestation
period is just 21days, at most 23 days and it births up to 14 pinkies or even more... A rat becomes sexually mature and active from its fifth week of existence but an elephant
becomes sexually mature between 8-10 years but will not start mating until its
20th birthday. Isn't that amazing?
Corn and cocoa beans are both seeds to the farmer. If
planted the same day, it takes different days for each to sprout. Once
sprouted, harvest is imminent for the
corn. The lifecycle of the corn is less than five months from germination to the time seeds are harvested
for grain. On the other hand, it takes three years for a cocoa plant to grow to
its full maturity. That is three generations of the corn. It takes five to six
months for a cocoa pod to ripen after pollination, that's like a life span of
an entire maize farm.
Beloved, you haven't
gotten answers to that prayer yet because God is preparing something grand for
you. If I were you, I'll hold-on and hold fast on God and His promises. One
thing I know is that He can never lie. He surely will come through for you.
When waiting ON-HIM no longer made sense, learn then to wait IN-HIM. It is a
place of maturity in Christ. It is a place of higher calling. Remember; "Although the fig tree shall not blossom,
neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail. and
the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and
there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will
joy in the God of my salvation." Habakkuk 3:17&18 KJV
The way may be rough right now, the vision blurred and
bleak. You may be having that piercing
pain in your chest as you are reading this post. Your case might be serious
health condition that the doctors have said is incurable but can be managed. If
God can raise a man from the dead after four days, you aren't dead yet! You
haven't gotten that job yet because He's preparing something grand for you.
Your wedding plans crashed because God doesn't want you a widow/widower at a
very young age. Have you paused to see things from this angle? He may have been
four days late, believe me, He was still on time.
We are encouraged to wait on God, for when He comes through,
it will be worth the wait. But while we wait, it is advisable that we do not
fold our hands. We must learnt to redeem the time. Self development and
empowerment is important. If you're believing God for a job for example, as an
unemployed youth, enroll for trainings that you can afford that could give you
better standing when opportunities present themselves.
Developing a back-up plan or what some people call plan 'B';
just in case God does not come through or incase it takes Him too much time.
This must not be part of the deal in
waiting on GOD, for once this is done, God loses interest in our petition. We
tend to discourage God anytime we develop a back-up plan.
Heroes and super achievers are those who make the best out
of their peculiar situations and circumstances. Remember, winners never quit
and quitters never win. Soon, very soon, it will all make sense.
