A CALL TO GOD’S PEOPLE!

For My people have committed two evils says the Lord, They have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewn themselves cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water…

Dear Friend,

Do not be surprised at the turn of events in our day, while we complain and our hearts are filled with fear concerning our nation, in our condition we fail to see that the trouble lies with us. We the children of God, we have forsaken God, and our iniquity is the curse upon the Land. Let the wicked man forsake his ways, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him turn to our lord, for He will abundantly pardon. You may say to yourself that you are not guilty but your judgment does not count, let the Spirit of God in your heart truly Judge only then can you be free.

We fill our places of worship every week but we return home to live our lives excluding God, we have heaped up pastors after our own desires, we run from any word that creates a disturbance in our spirit because we fear the Spirit’s conviction of sin. We manufacture our private doctrines to suit our desires and yet lift our hands in singing halleluiah. We profess that He is our Lord yet we are the ones who direct our own lives. We design our futures and choose our paths, we create our own visions and ambitions and then bring it to him to bless. We find scriptures and begin to profess them to support our pursuits, pursuits that are self-created, missions that are self- given. We clam that Christ is Lord whereas in truth we are the very Lords, of ourselves.

It’s not enough that we seek our own will, we have also turned our hearts to another god, a false one that holds no life: we serve our pursuits and our desires for money and profit. It has become the reason why we wake each day, the reason why we pursue relationships, the reason why we seek God, the reason why we do everything, we want more profit, more money. We lie to ourselves and to others that we seek to change the world, to help another, but for most of us we know deep down it’s not the truth. For some we try to appease our conscience, so that it keeps silent and we become justified in going after mammon, for others it’s to create a name for ourselves. We want to be great we, want to be strong, we want to be known, we want to dominate the earth, after all isn’t that what genesis 1:28 is about.

Who has deceived you, do you not know that our dominion is first spiritual? Do you not know that it is God that entrusts domains to each one after He has found them faithful, do you not realize that when you are done and come before him all your actions may count for nothing? Do you not know that there is only one name that must be glorified, not yours, not mine but Christ? Have you not read that it is not in man to lead Himself, that as many as are led by the Spirit are sons of God, why do you forge your own way and build that which has no eternal profit? God’s ultimate desire Is that all men be saved, and come to the fullness of Life that is in Him, but that quality of life is full of the blessing and not Lasciviousness, neither is it driven by covetousness and self-aggrandizement.

The Spirit of The Lord bids us to turn from our ways for if our ways are not instructed by the spirit, then they are ways of unrighteousness; if you are where you are or doing what you are doing, and you are there for any other reason that is not Gods direction or by His instruction, no matter how profitable it may seem, you are walking in unrighteousness. There is only one standard-set by which we must live: What is Gods Objective and His desire, what has He commanded, how has He said it should be done, where must it be done, when must it be done, for how long must I keep doing it, to who and with who must it be done, and most importantly what Boundaries must I not go beyond?

The time to turn from our ways is now, to return back to the fountain of Living water that He will give us life again. People of God I urge you to please consider your ways and Listen to the Spirit of God. If His Spirit bears witness that you are walking in righteousness then you can continue in your ways, but if not, please hearken to Him; for the Lord does not wish that any perish, but that all come to salvation. For the flood of fire comes to test each man’s work and they who are found wanting will be put to shame. Let He that hath ears, here what the Spirit is saying to the Church.
