GOD IS IN HELL TOO !

One of those days when I got lost in my reveries, my subject of interest was hell and the notion of pain. I was just wondering: hell is such a horrible place to be; the pain and affliction is unbearable. The Bible tells us that originally, hell was not designed for human beings but for Satan and his demons. Peradventure, that explains why it is such a horrible place for it was custom made for Satan and demons who are supernatural beings (permit me to use that description).

I was just wondering why Satan did not make an attempt to douse the tensions and pain in hell with all his power and influence? Why did he not at least make hell somewhat bearably for himself and his demons and his teaming followers? I will not say that demons love the hell experience, for am yet to see any being who glories in pain. Even stones and irons tremble at the sight of intense heat and man-made fire.

As I pondered deeply on these things. Psalms 139:7&8, came to my mind.

            "Whether shall I go from thy spirit?

            or whether shall I flee from thy presence?

            If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there?

            if I make bed in hell, behold, thou art there."

The above scripture stands to justify such an outrageous topic for this article. You see, on the face of it, the title sounds somewhat  blasphemous, but that is the truth of the matter. God is everywhere at the same time. That is what makes him God. He is omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscience.

Psalms 139:7&8 explains why hell is such a horrible place for Satan and his demons, yet he can't do anything about it. For the supernatural power and presence of God governs the affairs of hell. If the contrary is the case, I tell you, Satan with his enormous powers would have converted hell to some sort of haven.  Just like paradise was created out of a waste desert land in Dubai.

What I am trying to say in essence is that it doesn't matter what you are going through presently, God is there with you. You may ask me this question: Perez, you mean God was there with me when I was raped? Yes, He was. Was God there when my father/ uncle sexually abused me repeatedly? If He was there like you want me to believe, why did He not make him (my uncle/ father) stop? I want to tell you that it was because He was with you then, that you're still alive till today. Have you not read about people, even children who were raped and brutally murdered? At least, you are still alive.

Your case might be that you lost your family right before your eyes or like me, you have lost dear ones and you feel helpless. I want you to know that God is there and He's with you all the way. It was His manifest presence that pulled you through those dreary days. A lot of people did not go through half the things you've been through and they committed suicide, some even lost their mind. You are not in any way better than they are. It's been God all along. He wants to make beautiful music from the broken strings of your life. He wants you to bring healing to the world through your wound.

Remember the account of the three Hebrew children? He (God) was the fourth man in the fire. Dear friend, you are not alone in that struggle. God is with you on it. You will never walk alone. I will leave you with this scripture: Hebrews 4:15
